Dan is an Associate Consultant at Oakdene Hollins. As the co-author of the report 2008 Materials Security for the UK, he is an experienced consultant in the materials security and materials recycling area. His previous projects include on wood, plastic and glass recycling, carbon impacts of overseas shipments of recyclates, anaerobic digestion and food waste. He has carried out a series of studies for WRAP on improving the quality of recyclates obtained from domestic and construction waste material recycling facilities. More recently he looked at food and drink industry resource efficient technologies in the EU for the European Commission's Joint Research Centre: Institute for Prospective Technological Studies.
Dan has a first class degree in biology from Oxford University. When he is not working with us as an environmental consultant, Dan is also an author and has been an assistant producer on natural history documentaries.
