Furniture, ecolabelling and REACH

"Furniture is one of the product areas where we apply our technical knowledge. We work with clients on eco labelling as well as on innovation in the treatments required by law and offered as an option by some manufacturers," says David. "This was a chance to catch up with existing clients in the bedding sector, and to contribute to debate over why some treatment compounds are being voluntarily banned from product supply chains in the USA. REACH compliance is starting to look necessary but not sufficient in some markets."
