EPSRC funds systems change towards a Circular Economy

David Fitzsimons was on the selection panel for applications to a £5m fund for research into the Circular Economy.

David Fitzsimons joined a panel at the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) on 1 March 2016 to rank expressions of interest on a £5 million research fund 'Systems Change – Towards a Circular Economy'.

“Professor Barry Clarke from Leeds steered us through a complex set of choices as we worked through many excellent applications," said David.  "We were grateful to him for his chairmanship, and to Steve Hope from Toyota for bringing us up to date on investment choices being taken in the automotive sector that impact on the Circular Economy objectives of policy makers.”
