David Fitzsimons is reading "The Circular Economy: A review of definitions, processes and impacts", available from the Centre for European Policy Studies.

As David comments: “This report maps out the development of the term 'Circular Economy' in Europe from 1990. Its European perspective misses the early Chinese adoption and interpretation of the term but it nevertheless provides a thorough guide to the underpinning activities such as remanufacturing and the sharing economy.

"It highlights too some of the weaknesses, contradictions and over simplifications that make the circular economy a powerful but imperfect conceptual framework for businesses and policy makers.”
