Position Paper: Ecodesign Regulations for Imaging Equipment and Consumables

Printers and cartridges are responsible for an estimated 650,000 tonnes of printer wastes and 150,000 tonnes of cartridge waste every year in Europe. Effort therefore must be made to eliminate and design out waste. Oakdene Hollins has published evidence that is now included in that offered by the JRC who are facilitating the technical workshops on the regulations ( you can read this here).
