Diverting plasterboard waste from landfill in the UK

Modern plasterboard systems are produced largely from a by-product of the power generation industry that is processed to minimise environmental impact. However, the Federation of Plastering and Drywall Contractors is committed to further reducing the environmental impact of the sector and actively supports the reduction of gypsum waste and the construction industry's move towards sustainable development.  Our report covers one aspect - diversion from landfill.
