Environmental regulations after 'Brexit' - a different direction for the UK?

Might the UK offer alternative environmental regulations post Brexit as a counter to the zero risk model used by the EU?  This “Singapore Option” is already available in a part of the wastes management industry since Lord Justice Carnwath set out a different direction for the UK at the Court of Appeal.
