CE100 accelerates away
The Ellen MacArthur Foundation's CE100 Accelerator Events just keep growing. David Fitzsimons attended the first one in Paris, joined the memorably cool Berlin meeting, and was in Düsseldorf at the Schloss Krickenbeck for the latest gathering of CE100 member companies at a two-day residential.
David was co-presenting with Michelin to attract members for a new Co.Project, and promised to contribute to an Orange-led project on supply chains. “The Ellen MacArthur Foundation has been changing the format each time so that we focus on innovation - and only rarely on problems. It is a space in which change is always in the air,” says David.
It was a chance to hear from the CE100 leaders - from Nike to Tetrapak, Lexmark to IBM. David saw the opportunity to test our own ideas: “We were glad to get involved in the development of e-leather over the last year, and we like the circular economy credentials of this high performance product adopted by Nike," he says. "We know there is much more to come from the CE100, as leading companies create more circular products and services.”
